Well well, the time has come again for me to update the 'ole livejournal. Been a fair while eh?

Where's all the applause? Pfft, losers. haha.

Sooo..where to start eh? Download festival seems like a good position :p

Well, download was fucking ace. All the bands were amazing, to name a few: Dream theater, Static-x, Slipknot, Bring me the Horizon, We are the ocean, The blackout..too many to name!! Those were just a few of the bands I saw though, out of all the bands at download I'd only seen a few before so it was good to go see some new music and find some new stuff to listen to :D

There were a few hiccups at download too..basically, involved with this girl for a while who my mate liked..a lot. Decided not to tell him to spare his feelings but thought I had to tell him in the end. Which I did, at the most inopportune time possible I guess haha. Consequently he left on the thursday, before the music even started, which made me feel like a slight bit of a douche.

Did I say slight bit? I meant biggest dick in the world, lol. Ahh well, fast track to a couple weeks down the line and all is sorted out, things are back to normal between all 3 of us, as best they can be. Hoping things can go exactly back to how they were, but that'll take time.

On down the line a lil bit more..how hypocritical is this gonna sound; I met a girl, lol. We kinda hit it off, met each other once before for a couple of hours but that was in company. Went down to see her just us two and we went for a lil bit of a walk, talked loads, had a few cans to drink and walked a lil bit more. Ended up sitting on a bench when it was dark and just cuddling cause it was cold, then things kinda heated up a lil ;) It's all good, she's a nice girl. Still feel slightly conflicted about a few things though. But that's not worth mentioning really..nothing of any consequence will ever come from those things.

Also moving ahead with the uni stuff. Finished my course with a DDD at college (same as three "A" grades at A level) so I'm all set to take my spot up at the University of the West of England doing computer security. Just need to sort out my student support forms for the loan and grant, and need to sort out housing. Got an appoinment sorted out to go see a house on the 9th with Stu, proper student accomodation instead of just renting a house. Not preferable to what I'd wanna do but a house is a house. Can always move out and go somewhere else anyway.

And onto the final subject..where I'm posting this from! Currently in Turkey haha, spent a few days up in Istanbul when we arrived, taking in the sights and some of the nightlife, which might I add is fucking amazing. Went out with Ry(brother), Kor(stepdad) and Oskay(one of Kor's friends) a couple of nights and went out for a few drinks, was a good laugh haha. The hotel was pretty damn sweet too..4 star! Just the job! Back down in Antalya for the last bit of the holiday at the mo, enjoying the warmth haha. As I'm writing this at..1:37 am, it's currently 21 degrees C with a cool breeze outside, perfect. About 30 degrees in the day and sunny too, bliss! Gonna stay here till the 7th when we fly back and just relax..do a lil bit of sunbathing down the beach, go out a few times, chill! Safe as burbery gurns, as a friend of mine would say.

And that brings us to the end of this fairly mammoth update (well, compared to usual). See you..when I can next be fucked to sit down for 15 mins and update this sorry excuse for a journal :p

Well this time it was a slightly different flavour from the usual, I went to a dance concert lol. Loads of different acts, with Sash and Basshunter headlining, was a tad kick ass! A fight kicked off in the middle which was pretty funny though, what can you expect from chavs though eh?

Some pretty cool dancing going on at the gig too.. ;)

The whole thing was up in cardiff and the girls we went with were all staying up there..so we decided to do the same :D

Was a good laugh lol, came back from the gig and had a few drinks and a mini party. All round good fun!

Regardless! My escapades shall not go undocumented!

College has been pretty boring lately..nothing much going on, crap being moved around, crappy schedule and no work being handed out then a load at once is getting damn old. Ah well, the erraticness is kind of amusing.

Still haven't got a job, it's fucking rediculous. I would atleast like SOMEWHERE to reply to me, I apply and never hear back from anyone.

Anyway.

Had a fucking good time last night, went to a concert up in Bristol! Five Finger Death Punch, Unearth, Dimmu Borgir and Lamb of fucking God! Came back with a neck well shaken, ear drums thoroughly shattered and expectations exceeded. FFDP warmed up brilliantly, putting on a fuck off killer show and getting the crowed riled up, Unearth were a bit disappointing but still pretty good. Dimmu somewhat stole the show lol, best fucking band I've ever seen live, sounded great, good with the crowed and played a brilliant set.

Then it was time for the Lamb, opening with Hourglass and playing classics like Omerta, Redneck and Walk With Me in Hell. The pits were packed and it was an unholy sight to see 400+ metalheads moshing the fuck out of the floor.

The weird thing about christmas is that it seems to bring together the everyone who you don't normally mix with; that eerie uncle with the dodgy moustache and that odd 5th cousin twice removed that you've never met before.

This is the one day of the year you're meant to see these people, and never again. Not until next year atleast.

I'm really bad at consistent posting.

I am indeed. I sometimes think; "I should update my LJ more", then I snap back into reality and again think "Wait who wants to hear my rants and ramblings?".

That's why I don't post! lol

Anyway...

Summer's been relatively uneventful, been to a few parties (going to one in a week haha) and gotten drunk a little so it's all good. Each day has blurred into the next with my sleeping schedule though, wake up any time from 11am to 3pm, stay awake till 4-6am and go back to sleep. Time spent inbetween is usually me being lazy and doing nothing or occasionally seeing friends.

Yeah so I'm pretty boring.

I have recently been watching a program called "Mock the Week" though! It's basically 6 people that take the piss out of what's gone on during a week in England. It's English humour but I'd think for anybody it'd be frikken hilarious. Go ahead and download some.

Well I've been trying to think of something else to write and can't so I'll take this opportunity to fuck off for another 3 months.

Another month between postings.

I swear I get worse and worse with these updates.

Oh well, what's new? The short answer is not bloody much, lol.

Long answer is kinda - I finished college (well, the first year of college) I got a Distinction (highest grade possible) in all classes but one, which was a bollocks class and nothing to do with computers whatsoever, so I settled for a Merit in that one (merit being the second best mark possible). There's still one class that nobody has finished off though, which is because of our teacher leaving us half way throughout the year and the college taking another 2 months to find a replacement teacher, at which point I think we had a month left before the end of the academic year.

Makes brilliant sense doesn't it?

Anyway, because of this we still had one assignment to do to get all the grades, and even though (I thought) it had all the grades in it to finish off the class it apparently DIDN'T, so when we go back in September to start the second year we're getting another assignment.

Anyway, some good news! Am on my hols at the mo, so if you're reading this it means I'm probably not bugging you as much as I was cause I'm actually being pro-active and doing shit unlike usual (omg).

I used to be really good at keeping this up to date.

I'm sure anybody who keeps tabs on this realized the drastic downfall in that pretty quickly lol.

Hm, what to write about? Holiday and college I guess, lol.

Went on holiday to Turkey over easter break with my girlfriend, it was nice. Went down to the beach a few times to catch some rays, did a bit of relaxing and going out to bars for nights out. Went up to Istanbul for the last 4 nights, it's bloody hectic there, people everywhere. Huge city too, 11 million people covering both sides of the bosphorus river.

Nice cheap clothes there though! All the shops have factory overruns and stuff seeing as a lot of produce is made in Turkey because of cheap labour. Got this jacket for $30!

Apart from that I haven't been doing much. I bought a PSP though, it's pretty cool. Had to fix it though, but was quite easy. Trying to remember which screws went where was..irritating lol, they're all fookin' tiny too.

Welp, I'm gonna go to sleep now. Buh-byes for another few months

The most..amazing thing happened.

Nephilim was thinking of starting our own dynamis runs, some members in the shell wanted it and we thought we could do it. So we made forums..made up rules and started gathering funds for the glasses. Then last night the leaders of Elementalaffliction sent a /tell to Mynas and Tillaert saying that they were quitting and they wanted them to take over the shell and take on all the members. Oh and they gave them 5m to get started

So you know what this means?

We now have a fully functional dynamis LS with members and starting money and we haven't even officially opened our linkshell yet.

Fucking go us.

And I thought it went pretty well, we didn't have superb turnout (15 people, one friend from another LS helping and one dualboxed WHM). Managed to down Suzaku, a fucking crazy Seiryu and Genbu. However, sadly Byakko bested us, and wiped the alliance as we were trying to zombie-raise the tanks, got him down to 21% I think.

But for Seiryu. Fuck. Me. Does he normally spam TP moves? I can't say we have a lot of melee, think we had like 4-5 people DDing it, the rest using magic. He took down our 3 Plds in about 60 seconds, fang rush after fang rush after deadly dive, it was insane. Me and Mynas took him down from 90% to about 13% using bind, bio2 and poison2. Crazy shit.

Backstory!

We were killing PHs for despot when news arrived that a Bst had popped it, during a pet change one of our newer members grabbed him. Confusion ensued and we invited the Bst into our alliance. People fuck up, aggro sprinklers (cause the bst was soloing in a REALLY irritating place) so half our ally is dead. At this point I get pissed off.

so.

I buff up, and pretty much singlehandedly solo him from 40%->0% as Rdm/Blm, lol. All this while legacy were killing the flamingos that the Bst was using as pets.

Then we heard Zip was up! So our half dead ally raised who we could and ran over to zip (I was dead cause despot got ungrav'd mid bliz3). Apparently Legacy had claimed but lost it somehow (they say only one person was dead, my LS says nearly all of them were zombied, who knows). So we claim and kill with 6 people I think, not sure of the finer details since I zoned in when they just killed him. I was talking with Leonidas over MSN at this point (he's a nice guy, reasonable and rational..unlike Hawk).

I got an email from one of my tutors yesterday, he asked me to go and have a meeting with him about a possible work placement.

I didn't know that the work placement he was on about was as the director of his fucking company. I mean seriously, wtf!

He said he won't let me work for him while I'm still doing my BND, which is acceptable, I need this qualification and working for him could hinder my schoolwork.

He also said out of the whole year of computing students, I'm in the top 3 for intelligence and overall knowledge.

Nothing much going on..started college, that's going great, met a few cool dudes there, and some arsehats. But that aside I'm enjoying the course..I only go 3 days a week too! :D

Auntie, Uncle and 2 cousins are home for 4 weeks...first time seeing them in 3 years or so.

Attended a farewell party this evening! One of my mates is going to a music school in london...bloody far away, but hopefully he can come back/I can visit often.
